With our bikes all ready to go. Steven and my gear in the truck we headed off to climb the Pudre Canyon with naked bikes. What a treat. I'll have to admit that I was a bit nervous about climbing to much and gaining more elevation in Colorado. That wasn't the case! The Canyon was strikingly beautiful and completely natural, the views were constantly spectacular and varied. We got rained on a couple of times but mostly we cycled in the cool sunshine. It was extra special that Joyce and Pat were there. Joyce did a shorter ride and went back to MeOPie to get the car since we are riding the rest of the Pudre Canyon tomorrow and staying in a cabin in Glen Echo tonight. We went for lunch at Mishawaka a famous mountainside restaurant and music venue. We ended up at 7100 ft elevation today, tomorrow will be 10,250 followed by a very nice down hill. I am looking forward to it!
